I'm so glad you liked it! It was surprisingly easier to work in the tentacles than I expected, once I had the basic idea in my head. It was a whole lot of fun to write, and now I'm sort of bouncing and squeeing that you enjoyed it so much. ^_^

I am so tempted to keysmash right now. You linked me your Steve/Tony A/B/O fic (er, two weeks ago?) and I still need to tell you how much I enjoyed the concept and its execution. It takes me too long to write serious replies. This is partly why I've been kinda MIA on F!S lately.

Tentacles was a throwaway line I added at the very end, literally just before I hit the post button. I requested a lot of older fandoms that I didn't expect to be filled, so I added it as a kind of a last resort. I never expected how much big of a part it played in the story.

"Master Anik's Famous Calamari Recipe" is something I wish with all my ungodly heart is real on this plane of existance. At least there's barbecued squid to quench my cravings somewhat. ;)

I'm glad you decided to include the bit about tentacles, because it let me make comically terrible things happen to Sokka, which I feel is a major component of any good AtLA fic.

Christmas should have arrived a lot earlier if I'd just stopped angsting about a comment that "omg everyone will see forever and ever!!! oh noez it must be deep and thoughtful and meaningful" and posted the darned thing already.
