25: I don't play at Island, and I submit secrets for my characters often. (And I play with my dropped characters, too. SCANDAL! :O)

Of course, I very rarely (if ever) reference specific RPs because I wanna play with everyone. Only my most recent IC secret (not posted yet) even references a specific CHARACTER. (Whom I also play.) Why'd I do it? I wanna poke at other RP's versions of the guy. >D

Anyway. Point I'm trying to make has been said a million times before already, but I'm gonna chime in with "SPAM SECRETS PLZ :D". I'm sure the more secrets they consistently get, the more secrets will be in a post and the more often posts will go up anyway, yes?

4. I had a friend who told me once that Cloud was in SOLDIER... When I said, "Uhh, in the game he said, 'I was never in SOLDIER. All my memories were stuff I remembered about Zack. LOL'"

But this friend of mine insisted I was wrong and that those were his memories. And that Zack was the one who wasn't real.

...And he played the game. Never read a piece of FFVII fic in his life either. :/ My mind still boggles to this day.

As the secret poster from the other day who bought it solely based on Yahtzee's review?

You have no idea how much I miss quirky, awesome adventure games like Monkey Island and Sam & Max. Sure, RPGs are interesting and wonderful and generally full of awesome, but Psychonauts was the best time I had with my PS2 all year. (Except for the last level, but whatever.)


What I'm trying to say is, you've got an audience waiting with bated breath. Hit us with your best shot. :)

25: It's a rare occasion when a particular secret references one RPG over another, I've found. Most are non-specific for the purpose of pulling more characters from RPGs in so we can all play. Get over yourself.

25. I like watching ic_secrets, and yes, it is Island dominated, but like already mentioned, there are a few CFUD and Econtra secerts too.

The thing yes, although it is rude, yes the only way to fix this is to submit more secrets from other RPs. The problem is this isn't something that just one person can do. I've thought about submitting secrets for my characters, but the problem is that I'm pretty sure I'm the only one from my RP who watches IC Secrets. While I don't mind interacting with characters from other RPs, I'd like to see some from the ones I'm at as well.

Go to the RPs you play and start advertising ic_secrets there. Tell them how much fun it can be and try to convince members to submit secrets or at least go comment on ones they (might) know are yours.

Aha, I've seen people pimp it at RPs before. *A* I SECOND THIS ACTION. It's very helpful and gives us less work to do in advertising.
