(Anonymous) 2007-10-29 01:39 am (UTC)(link)I respect your opinion, but at least the cartoon had a decent plot and very few obnoxious human characters who didn't advertise crap every 3 seconds.
The only thing the movie really had going for it, I felt (as in a personal opinion) was a potential new market for the toys and nostalgia for those who grew up with them.
P.S. I did really like Bumblebee's new design though.. so cute.<3

I do have a lot of friends who loved the movie, but I simply see it another way. I feel it's better saying my opinion in secret format rather than rampaging across friendslists, review sites, forums, etc. like many other people do when they dislike something.

... it's a cheesy hollywood action movie. adjfhgadk *dies* I guess my expectations for it just started off lower than yours.

First I heard was during Clerks II, but I didn't bother going beyond "There's a movie being made. Heck, I didn't even bother looking up who was going to be appearing in it. I mean, I had no idea who Michael Bay was before I saw the movie. He has a knack for letting things get in the way of story I hear.
I think if I went in thinking it would be a cheesy action movie, I would have liked it more. XD
