I'm not the OP but: Because some people think because the character did some bad things that it's was bad acting (Idk). And because some people think there are only 'certain ways' people with drug and mental problems act and well the character didn't 'act' that way so the actress was bad. It's all kind of stupid.

What the hell kind of moron do you have to be to think if an actor's character does bad things, the actor is a bad actor? I don't doubt there are people that dumb, I'm just reeling over here from the thought.

So because Amon Goeth in Schindler's List was a monster, Ralph Fiennes is a terrible actor? My mind hurts.

A *lot* of people really, completely hate Hathaway and some of them don't always respond well when you mention liking something she's done. Maybe that's the case with some of the people the OP knows?

Agreed, hands down. I don't think anyone was particularly good in the new Les Mis.

I totally forgot, he was actually good as Enjolras. That being said, I agree, he would've kicked ass.
