Secret 6 - My Chemical Romance (musical group), Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys

[Picture is the cover of the album "Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys" by the musical group "My Chemical Romance". It shows the silhouette of a spider superimposed over the landscape of a desert type of place.]

This is one of my favourite albums. Not just from My Chemical Romance but all time. It's also the reason I'm upset they called it quits: there's never going to be a follow up to this like Danger Days Part 2. I would have pre-ordered that.

Me too OP, me too :(

I just wish that them breaking up meant more time for Gerard to work on his comics, but no, we don't even get that *sigh*

We could have had so many wonderful things!

You're probably going to get a ration of shit for this OP, but I loved this album, too. So much I bought it twice, once on release and again on google play.

I never got to see them live and it breaks my hear :(

Anon from above^

Yeah, I never got to see them live either. I said that they'd be the first band i'd see live, but I guess that'll never happen now, haha.

bands that break up do occasionally get back together, might be a while though...

While not quite the same, there is a Killjoys comic book that's supposed to be a sort of sequel to the album. It's pretty dang good too.

Kinda OT but I was just listening to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge for the first time in years and I forgot how good that album is. I still haven't heard Danger Days all the way through; I'm so behind on music I like :P

It's one of my favorites, too. :( But even if they'd stayed together, I would've been surprised if they'd done a "sequel" album. That doesn't seem to be their thing.

I started listening to MCR reeeeeaaaally late, so Danger Days was the first full album I bought and listened to in its entirety (as opposed to singles of radio played songs from other cds). It's my favorite too, OP.
