I had the ending spoiled for me by a troll, but I still enjoyed the game, with reservations. Problem is, I'm not sure if my reservations are completely fair, as I can't tell if I was legitimately underwhelmed or if having the game spoiled colored my perception of the game. Your points make a lot of retroactive sense and I feel like on the surface it's nice to have a game that actually focuses on queer struggles but the game itself simply isn't compelling.

Well, whatever, I mostly wanted it for the 90s fetishization and it didn't disappoint there.

I think this is a pretty good summation about how I feel about the game. There were a lot of parts I didn't like but if it opens the door for more (much better) games or other works featuring lesbian characters then I'm glad it was made
