Here in Canada we have a thing called Boxing Day, which is the equivalent of Black Friday in the USA. Massive, massive discounts on all merchandise, so that when people come to return the gifts they don't want they wind up spending more than before hahah.

Some people even just wait until Boxing Day to buy all of the stuff they'll get for Christmas, if they feel like braving the crowds.

I don't know if it's a thing anywhere in Europe, but some parts of the USA have also started doing it a bit.

Thinking of it I have heard of it!

I think it is a thing in The UK, probably most of Europe. Norway tends to be our own little island of heavily regulated shop laws (as I explained in the comment above, if you are interested)

We start the huge sales tomorrow!
