You're still better than I was the year I decided to knit for everyone. Started in July, finished the following March.

You're still much faster than the friend I commissioned to knit a Fourth Doctor scarf in I believe March 2007 (for a Chanukah present for my sister for that year), only to finally complete the thing in October 2012. I was prepared for a delay of up to about 8 months (so August 2008)-- we were both students with busy schedules. But she neglected to tell me she was also apparently knitting (or maybe crocheting) two blankets. Which were begun in 2006, and delivered in 2011. Her family kind of has its own time zone, which is at least an hour behind everyone else...

I'm celebrating one of my three Christmases this weekend, so it's not as bad as it sounds. haha I love extended deadlines.
