Erm, What the fuck was that, Case?!

Yes, secret 7 had some difficult topics, and not everyone was being rational and respectful, but to shut down the who discussion, a discussion that in my opinion was necessary, even if it wasn't necessarily an easy discussion to be a part of, well that was just utter bullshit.

Utter bullshit, and lazy modding to boot. Freeze the people that were being openly disrespectful to other commenters, don't just bring down the frozen hammer on everyone because it's easier to freeze everything in one go. Fucking hell, man!

No, but the first major discussion of the thread, and all subthreads from that first point (That fist valid point that deserved to be said and deserves to be responded to) is frozen.

People were talking there, discussions were being had, points and counterpoints were being exchanged, but because you're either too lazy to go through it carefully and freeze the out the people being deliberately harmful and malicious, or because you simply didn't care enough about how important this was to some people, that's all fucking over now. a very dick move on your part either way.

I also find it interesting that of the two big threads in secret 7, the thread that takes the position "I have a problem with what he said and how people are defending it" gets frozen, but the other one that takes the opinion "It was just a joke, these hysterical bitches need to calm down and learn to take a joke" is allowed to continue.

I understand this conversation was important to you; however you are not the only user of this community. The people being deliberately harmful and malicious were sort of all over that thread, and whatever I left unfrozen would likely have had someone come and be deliberately harmful and malicious about it. Meanwhile, the threads that were being civil were mostly someone stating something and others chiming in with "I agree" and not much actual discussion going on. So, stopping the former outweighed letting the latter continue (which it wasn't particularly doing at the time, anyway).

If you would like to provide me with specific threads to unfreeze that do not fit into the two above categories that you would like to continue, please do and I will unfreeze them (provided they actually DON'T fit the two above categories). That would be helpful! But coming here and demanding reasons for me doing something I didn't do, and personally insulting me on top of that, isn't helping you or me.

ETA: Also, if you're implying I have a position on the matter, I don't. I don't even know what the guy said or what the secret is about. All I see is people insulting each other. I will go look at that other thread too! Thanks for pointing it out.

ETA2: Which thread is that? The other long one I see is people more or less non-insultingly discussing how jokes should treat sensitive subject matter.
