The OP probably isn't who I want it to be, but I need to get this off my chest. I've been wanting to say this for months.

I had no right to say those things. I regret it every day, and I have for the past year. It still keeps me up at night.

I was annoyed. I didn't mean them.

I regret that our friendship had to end that way. You were hurt, and I feel terrible about it.

But it was going to happen anyway.

What I now call a "friendship" was, at its end, a tenuous one at best. It seemed like the only times you ever spoke to me were to criticize something I'd done or said. "Advice" you deemed "helpful" wasn't. It was just a laundry list of my faults. Whenever I'd try to strike up a conversation, you made me feel like an idiot.

So...I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings, and I'm sorry if I ruined any fandoms for you. Rest assured, I'm having issues with the fandoms you introduced me to, as well. I was sorry when we had our fight, and I'm just as sorry now, a year later.

I had no right to say those things. But neither did you.
