10- I know how this is. It sucks when a fandom gets connected specifically to a person and then the series itself is ruined for you because of a person in the fandom. I wish it were possible to keep fandom and the actual canon separate (as in not letting fandom influence your enjoyment of the canon), but sometimes it's just really difficult to do. I wish I could think of some of my fandoms without sour thoughts, but because I sometimes can't it just tarnishes the canon for me.

Wow, two IY secrets in a post. That's just strange.

14- I don't like the Key games or their adaptations. I actually find them sort of disturbing. I also wish people didn't try to force them on me. It isn't that I mind when people on my friends list post about them and squee, but I hate OMG YOU HAVE TO WATCH ITTTT directed at me, even when I've already said I'm not interested.

Thank you. ♥ I almost wish there were a way to immerse yourself in fandom without getting emotionally attached to it...but if you weren't emotionally attached, then really, what would be the point? Kind of a Catch-22 all around...

#10: Ironic you mention this, because several series have been ruined for several people because of you. Some people can't even hear the word "Inuyasha" without being disgusted, because the first thing they think of is you.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if that particular "fandom secret" was about you.

Maybe it should be though! Because I know one of my favorite things to do is stalk people from four years ago and leave little anonymous comments on their fics, icons, f_secrets comments.

Oh wait. I'm not doing that. Imagine that.

Stop obsessing over a four year old conflict. You were immature then and still are. Some of us grow up. And it's ironic that the sudden onslaught of anonymous comments to my friend and I start to occur when we leave the IY fandom. Do you want us to stay there that much? ;)

Actually, that would be three years ago. Elementary math, my dear.

I just can't respect people who put fandoms before friendships.
