Tumblr without an account?

So! I want to follow all you fine folk here who have tumblrs (I have some of you bookmarked I think) but I don't want to sign up for Tumblr. I tried using a burn email, but it won't let me (and I can't get past the "name your blog" bit because everything is taken).

How do I Tumblr without signing up, FS?

Make a new junk email that you don't actually use, and title your blog as a really long keysmash? or random string of words?

You can go to people's Tumblrs and see what they reblog.

But frankly, it's stupid.
Making an account isn't rocket science

this is what i do

i can't keep up with my actual dashboard just following two people

it's easier to just bookmark my favorite tumblrs and visit them individually

Any particular reason you do not want a tumblr? You don't have to do anything with it other than follow people.

Also, depending on what email program you use you can create aliases.

I don't think there IS a decent way to tumblr without signing up...

You could check each blog individually, but frankly that sounds like too much effort to be enjoyable. Making an account is so much easier.

So I would just make an email address for tumblr specifically, then think of a name (ask for help here, or just type something completely random, including just random letters and numbers if need be) and follow people.

you can change your name as many times as you like so if you just need something to sign up with you can put in something random

Mostly haystacked and tramonto-icons, but there are random others. Haven't seen but a couple of old Black Flag icons, though. :(

Pretty much what everyone else said.

If you're having trouble with a name you can try a random name generator OR you could just stick 3 or so words together for your name. As long as you aren't going for something popular it should be fine.

If you have a smart phone, the mobile app? My sister uses it to follow tags and blogs iirc, and you don't need an account.


Seriously though. Just make an account with a junk email.

I follow a handful of tumblrs using feedly. All the tumblr goodness without the hassle of actually using tumblr.
