I have yet to see anything good that has been done in the name or under the banner of social justice.

If you google "social justice center" or "institute for social justice" you will see various organizations based in all different cities and states (I can only speak from an American perspective; there are probably similar organizations in other counties but I haven't researched them) that have all kinds of programs that are designed to improve the lives of people in marginalized groups. I'd suggest looking into some of these if you're really interested in seeing what the term was originally about.

OK, yes, we have organizations like this here as well but they are not called social justice or anything even similar. I retract my statement above, based on two anons upthread; I have now seen social justice used at least twice in a positive context.

So I retract my statement that I have never seen social justice in anything but a negative context.
