I don't recognize him when I see him unless he's with Hanji, but I've always liked Hanji's boytoy. Even if I can't remember his face or his name.

[Picture is Moblit Berner? from the anime "Shingeki no Kyojin" or "Attack on Titan". He is a man with light skin, short brown hair and wearing a dark cloak over a uniform?]

I love most of the Attack on Titan characters to bits, but what I really want is more fanart/fanfic of him.

Secret Because: Most people didn't even know who he was until chapter 52.

Not Secret: I ship him with Hanji.

I think so. I also think that the romanization you used is the official one so I apologize for my unnecessary correction. I honestly thought it was Baner for some reason

I was so happy about Moblit in the latest chapter, standing up for his squad leader like a Boss.

I mean, some people liked him before but you got to admit there wasn't a lot to go on. I think Hanji's squad is going to start playing a bigger role... but there are always certain risks when minor character get put in the spotlight in this series.

ME TOO OP. ME TOO. I love him, and ship him with Hanji so much! The last chapter where he stood up for Hanji against the douchey military police, and the two of them could communicate through glances without even talking. /SHIPS IT. Also totally hits my older female mentor/younger male assistant kink, which is a rarity in fiction. He makes such a better pairing with Hanji than Levi, sorry Levi fangirls

Yeah, I think Moblit is a better match for Hanji than Levi.

Levi is just rude towards everyone, and while I don't think it bothers Hanji much it's nice to see someone (like Moblit) always taking care of her.

LeviHan is more brOTP to me but MobHan is OTP.

Describing Levi/Hanji as a brOTP is perfect! I see them as colleagues who are really comfortable with each other, and respect each other a lot. I honestly can't ship it. (Also most LeviHan fanart/fic also seems to depict Hanji as this super eccentric, happy-go-luck manic pixie dream girl to Levi's stoic bad boy, and I just don't see Hanji's character that way at all)

Agreed so much. That's why I don't really care for LeviHan because although I really like Hanji she's just too OOC in the pairing. I have a feeling it's only so popular because of Levi fans.

Thank God. Maybe now I can write Levi/Other in peace without having people wonder why Levi/Any wasn't Levi/Hanji.

LeviHan isn't even the most popular Levi pairing so that doesn't even make sense...

Don't look at me, I have no idea. I think LeviHan people are just starved for fic.

I personally enjoy Moblit/Hanji more than LeviHan because Levi and Hanji just seem like good colleagues where Moblit and Hanji seem to have a deeper connection than that . I wish it was more popular.

Yeah, I wish Moblit/Hanji got more appreciation. Unfortunately Levi is a massively popular character whereas Moblit is still kinda in the background, so people focus more on LeviHan rather than the guy who is always keeping Hanji in check.

It seems like minor characters only become important to fandom once their dead... see Marco and Petra.

I think chapter 52 gave Moblit/Hanji a huge boost and lots of fanart though, so it's a start!

Hopefully Hajime Isayama will give us even more Moblit/Hanji so that the ship will keep on getting more recognition. I'd like to see more of Moblit as well.

I'm getting the vibe that Moblit really admires her and looks up to her, even if he thinks her methodology is a little too risky.

Why, may I ask? Because to me it seems that Hanji and Moblit have the deeper relationship.
Not that Levi and Hanji don't get along very well, because they do. But Moblit seems to be the guy always at her side, and shares the same interests as her (versus Levi who just tells her to shut up every time she talks science)

Hanji seemed well acquainted with Levi's team so I take it she spent a lot of time around them.

Levi's reaction to her talking seemed like he heard her theories many many times before.

The first thing Levi did when he found Ilse's notebook was hand it to Hanji because he knew she'd be interested.

Plus both Hanji and Levi are higher ups. They've been on missions together. Levi knew it was Hanji knocking when she was outside Erwin's room.

Is that Moblit I see?

Moblit x Hanji is seriously one of my OTPs. He's always looking after her and sticking up for her. I'm happy Hanji has someone reliable to look out for her. I'm praying he doesn't die, because he's seriously such a sweetheart.

I'm glad lots of people like this ship, not as popular as some ships, but it deserves to be.

If he dies I wonder how that would affect Hanji's character :(
