Iris is the number one song that makes me think of The X-Files (because I saw a fanvid once) so I still love it. <3

This is why I'm glad I never got into bandom, because I didn't realize they were supposed to be "goffick" or "emo". Sure as hell don't sound that way.

Anyway, I still love them. I regularly listen to their live album. They're probably the only band I can say with certainty that I would ever go see live.

Saw them live a couple of months back. Few there were 'goffik' or 'emo' and it was pretty busy.

I'm... okay with their music. I think.

I've discovered other bands I'm crazier about, so maybe it isn't a fair comparison.

But it really sucks what happened to Mike. I'm sure there's a buttload more to the story and it wasn't an easy decision, and no one is the bad guy, but it still sucks.
