I irrationally resent all the The Original Series-Reboot fic because I spend all the time thinking, "Why not Galaxy Quest?" Irrational, I know! The two are unrelated!

There is so much potential for Galaxy Quest fics... [sad face emoticon]

I have the bestest headcanon for her, and nothing the movies eventually deliver will ever live up to it.

Do you know how rare red hair is in Tolkien elves? It's really, vanishingly rare. So maybe Amrod had a Moriquendi wife who left him after the Second Kinslaying. The baby she never told him about grew up to be one of Tauriel's parents before getting killed -- Mirkwood's a dangerous place.

Tauriel doesn't know, but Thranduil suspects. She's three-quarters silvan and one of his people -- but he also doesn't want his son marrying a descendant of the Kinslayers.

And Noldor has always gotten along better with dwarves.

I'm more upset at this show being cancelled than I would be if Doctor Who ended. I also think it's a more feminist show compared to current Who.

I am so sick of seeing this line brought up over and over and over and over by the fandom. It was a throwaway joke, for crying out loud! I get that it was funny, but I don't want to have to hear about "What happened in Budapest" every time I go to look for something Avengers-related.

I started watching this for nostalgia and cheap laughs. Turns out I started at the best possible time. I was close to running out of steam for this semester and watching the characters being absurdly stressed and busy all the time made me want to work and generally be productive.

The change was sudden and noticeable. People have asked me where I found the motivation. Even to friends who like Boy's Love, I can't admit it was this shit.

Bonus Secret: I didn't even like the couples. It got to the point that I was only watching for motivation.

Even though it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, my brain automatically supplies him for my mental image of Watson when I'm reading the books.
