Time zones and F!S

(Anonymous) 2013-12-31 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
So I started F!S while I lived in Japan - it was a morning ritual while I was taking the train to work, and helped me wake up. I just moved back to the States and now... it's an evening thing. This is probably normal for most(?) of you, but it's really blowing my mind.

It's a midnight thing for me, mid-evening on the weekends. I love you guys and gals (not radfemanon) so much I'm willing to sacrifice sleep for an hour or so.

Ooh, that would be hard. Here in US central time zone, it's like, a 5-6 p.m. thing. I think the discussions here tend to burn out by eleven pm or so, depending on the thread.

It's a late-afternoon thing here on the west coast (post usually goes up ~3-4pm).

West coast here. I usually end up here late in my shift or on the way home from work myself. FS in the morning would be weird for me, haha.

F!S usually starts at midnight for me, I'm a night-owl though so it's not so bad but I typically have to duck out early to go to bed before the posts are done.

These days f!s is usually around 8am for me, a very comfortable time. When case used to post earlier, it was 4 am and I woke up every day specially for it, and I would get other things done then too! I wish case still did that, I find it so hard to wake up early without any motivation.

Yes, I wake up earlier for FS.

I vary between four time zones, so my FS time is usually either midafternoon or very early in the morning. But it can be anytime really.
