Re: The guy I love is never going to love me back :(

I don't know, I know the internet likes to be all "Yeah, fat doesn't automatically mean ugly, rock on chubby gurllll!" but I've never, not once, ever, seen that same attitude in real life. The exact opposite, in fact. (I've spent the majority of my life as fat, so...not saying this without experience. Though I very well might just be one of those people that is ugly regardless of weight, etc)

The "internet" as whole doesn't say that. The prevailing attitude is still fat = ugly. Doesn't mean we can't point out the idiocy of saying" she's so pretty despite her weight."

You should spend some time where I come from, where sturdy figures in women are widely prized over slim ones, especially if they have junk in the trunk and strong thighs. Calling a woman "thick" is almost always a compliment.

Majority black community. You could always marry in! :D

Eh, I've had a group of stoned black guys follow me around a grocery store once asking over and over if I liked 'cottage cheese', that wasn't very flattering to be honest. (Cottage cheese being a derogatory term for fat)

Those same kinds of guys will give a skinny woman grief - calling her "bones" or asking if "a bitch is hungry" - because they're assholes. But, in my experience, the women they actually try to mack on (and get shut down hard, being losers) will most likely be quite thickset and dressed to show it off well.
