... Not necessarily? I mean, it was the first one that popped into her head that was similar to the present situation. It doesn't have to have any special significance for Natasha to be going "Hey, Clint, doesn't this remind you of ...?" and Clint to be going "Uh, no, I'm pretty sure I'd remember if there had been aliens in Budapest."

If it had been in a quiet moment between them, like the 'undone' scene on the Helicarrier, then yes, I'd argue for Budapest to be special. But something just thrown out in mid-battle banter, I'd be more inclined to think it one of many. Especially since Natasha finds their current situation to be so similar, despite the goddamned aliens involved, it really does give the impression that her and Clint have been through so many firefights together that she basically just sees the aliens as being an interesting quirk on a standard situation.

TLDR; Given the context (mid-battle banter), I think Budapest was more a comment on how their shared firefights were starting to blur together than a mention of an event that was special to them.
