That...doesn't follow, and seems kind of pedantic. Different doesn't necessarily mean defining or special. It was a crazy, chaotic job. Given their profession, most of their jobs are crazy and chaotic. And the Budapest situation bore a resemblance, from Natasha's point of view, to the situation they were in at the time. That doesn't make it more special. If you've got a color wheel with the six basic colors and somebody hands you a periwinkle swatch and you say, "Hey, this is like blue," it doesn't mean blue is more special than any of the other colors.

It was a funny throw-away line a) to indicate that their everyday job is full of this kind of craziness and b) for Natasha to be whistling in the dark a bit, writing off an alien invasion as not all that different from something they've done before.
