You're probably not that offensive if you're only getting random anon comments and not big long threads with lots of different people taking issue with what you said. I made a silly joke comment on the Hannibal Lecter vs. alligators secret the other day and had an anon tell me I was worthless for liking the character/show and should have my computer blown up, lolol. There are some overly dramatic anons around here, along with the trolls.

Haha what?! As a dedicated long term anon, I say that is terribly bad manners. When I anon tell someone they're worthless, it's for good reasons, dammit!

Yeah, they'd apparently had it with the maybe 25 comments I've ever made here and said they wished they could blow up my computer so I'd never be able to post on the internet again, hahaha! There was someone who replied to me in a last word kind of way in a discussion about him before and asked some really silly questions after pointing out that they totally weren't going to read any responses I might have, but I did respond. Maybe that's what made them mad, lol.

There do actually seem to be an unusually number of people who yell at you if you watch Hannibal (i.e. high enough that I assume they are not all trolls). It's a bit worrying that they can't differentiate fiction (which is *condemning the character anyway*) from reality..

Yeah, I've wondered several times if some of them think he's a real person. Some of it seems to come from people who don't watch it and assume it's just about serial killers being totally great people or something, but there are definitely some folks here who get really moralistic about liking the bad guy, no matter how unrealistic he is. And then you also get some aggressive responses if you disagree with easily disprovable fanon. Which I guess is pretty common regardless of the fandom, lol.
