I've known and come across a few Augusts myself.

NAYRT, there are August's in my family tree, but they are all male. Curious if you knew male or female August's, and are they recent names (e.g., not older people)? It struck me as old-fashioned, but that's probably just my experience.

The ones I come across were mostly female and were born in the late 70's early 80's

I know a 2-year-old boy named August, come to think of it

There's Apple Martin, and Peaches Geldof. That's the only two I can think of, and now I'm running through fruits in my head: oranges, grapes, strawberry (wouldn't be surprised if someone has that), pomegranate, pears, banana. BANANA. That will be the name of my firstborn. BANANA JONES.

You've forgotten the justly famous "Mr. Potatohead." Although perhaps he belongs to the vegetable family.

"Peaches Geldof" just sounds like a dessert.
