I don't think I've ever seen a movie in the theater more than once. If I like it, I wait for the DVD release. Theater's too expensive with the popcorn and all. And you have to have the popcorn.

I probably go to the movies three or less times in year. It's just so much cheaper to watch things at home and there's very few movies that I feel are worth seeing a few months early.

I usually don't bother with popcorn, because then I'll get thirsty and need a soda, and then I'll have to pee halfway through the movie, and I just don't want to deal with that. Popcorn is for at home, when you can pause.

You pee before you go in the movie, and unless it's a 3 hour special edition, you should be good to hold it 'til the end credits. Some training may be required to work up to it. I honed this skill in middle school with ~2.5 minutes between classes on opposite sides of the campus.

I already pee before I go in the movie, but usually even the smallest size soda they sell is pretty enormous, and with something salty like popcorn, I'd probably go through it pretty steadily. And while I could probably hold it, I'd rather be thinking about the movie rather than how much I have to piss. Especially since a lot of the movies I watch these days have a post-credits stinger.

The last time I went to the cinema I bought a large bag of salted popcorn but no drink. I started regretting that decision fairly quickly.

Agreed. I hate going to the movies and I have a hard time even watching stuff on DVD.
