in homestuck, the trolls evolve into space fairies

Cool! I would say I'd try Homestuck (again), but it is a daunting comic and fandom to get in to.

It's on a huuuuuge hiatus right now and the next update is gonna be the last one, so now would be the best time to attempt it but I'm not gonna give you the whole spiel. Honestly I'm less enamored with it than I once was.

It's one of those things where you get into it - GET REALLY OBSESSED WITH IT - mellow out a little but still thinking about all your headcanons and how much you love these characters and how maaaagical the fandom is - gradually get kind of tired of it and move onto other things. I'm in the final stage. I don't think I'll quit it completely the way I have with other things, and I'll probably be really enthusiastic when the final post comes up, but yeah. Homestuck and I are just casual acquaintances right now.

If it helps, there is just one more update to go. After you'd be able to read at your own pace without worrying about it getting bigger on you?

True. I have tried to read it before, but it never hooked me. I feel like I'm missing out on why people love it so much? I think the comic is cool and all, but it's never gripped me as a must read.

I'll admit that it took me a bit to get into it. The early stuff with John is kinda...meh. But once they started entering the game medium I was hooked.
