Thanks for asking. I was going to do a follow-up eventually. I downloaded a significant chunk of Beatles' discography, and I was going to wait until I had waded through it to post again.

As to the stuff that was recommended here, I found two or three rather pleasant to listen to and they may wind up in my MP3 collection if I continue to not hate them. Can't say I'm now a fan of the band (as yet), but I admit to liking a couple songs.

My Youtube recs are irrevocably damaged, and I thank you all for indulging me.
