1- Eh, I don't think Nia is perfect at all. I also don't really believe in canon sues (well outside a small few). As far as flaws, it's all in the skill of the writer. A good writer makes the flaws endearing and something you can sympathize or empathize with (if you're supposed to do that with the character), a bad writer makes all the characters you're supposed to like annoying. Although in my experience often an okay writer will slip up and only manage to succeed on some of the cast. It's a tricky balance.

2- At least you acknowledge it's unrequited. Not that I have any problem with someone shipping the pairing, because I don't. But a great amount of the fandom thinks the pairing is "canon" (and that James stole her from him), when she made it clear that Lily loved him as a friend.

15- I tend to assume everyone is female as well.

16- Poor Dumbledore. :(
