4. This is Snapesnogger, right? I've never understood why everyone's so down on her. So she has a really cutesy drawing style, so what?

The real reason I ever had a problem with her is because she can't draw snakes very well, and refused for quite a while to take any advice offered on learning to draw them better. She'd jump down people's throats and sic her fans on people and have her entourage report the non-fan for harassment. She actually got more than one person banned--either for giving her concrit, or for mentioning her somewhere else in a way she didn't like. For a while, if you dropped the word "slugbaby" anywhere on dA, chances were you were asking for a ban.

She's doing much better these days. You can see the improvement in her work between last year and now--she's been actually practicing coils on snakes and working on anatomy, and now her stuff looks much more refined than it did before. And I haven't heard anything about her entourage reporting people for bannination recently...

Snapesnogger has a perfectly fine drawing style, but most people I know don't take issue with her drawing so much as her attitude.

She can be an incredibly entitled and bitchy person and she has an entourage of little squealing fans that will chew up and spit out anyone who DARES to criticize her at times.

She got herself banned from Y!Gallery this past year for repeated rule-breaking regarding content and then whined and complained when the gallery wouldn't take down her account page and it's non-rule breaking submissions, which they don't do for anyone they ban. The outcry and verbal abuse from her little army of fans was ridiculous.

I don't argue with her talent, but after spending a year watching her on DA and Y! I've seen enough of her journals and such to say that I don't like her as a person. Thus, I lack watching her anymore.

Yeah and I sort of wish her Snape actually looked like... Snape. I mean she's a good artist, but there is a description in the books. It would be great if some artists actually followed it.

I think Marilyn Manson's pompous and arrogant and a whiny little brat. I still love his early stuff more than anything in the world. Personality does not always affect quality of work.
