As a former player, I am not at all surprised that the game continues to be fail. I had to quit because, despite my best efforts, no one wanted to RP because they were all too busy making their characters have buttsex.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I offend you? I can't help the impression I came away with. Especially when I couldn't even get other characters in the same fandom to RP with me, and I suspect it's for those very same reasons.

That might make me too obvious, but at this point I could care less.

Diff annon here, but as a former player too, I don't remember the community being so closed off. Perhaps my personal reasons for leaving prevented me from seeing it, but while I played there, there was plenty of interaction between characters of the same fandom and other fandoms. The only reason anyone would've had that trouble would be because muns were inactive.

And I definitely do not remember the community ever being sex-driven...

I may be exaggerating a little, but I was definitely seeing many more logs between people of the same fandoms. And when people were constantly joining the game in pairs, with characters that would later be shagging, it was telling.

You didn't offend me, I just don't get your logic. That isn't the roleplay's fault, that's the muns fault for being shitty roleplayers.

I don't play there, I stalk it. What the other Anonymous said, there was hardly that much sex and always lots of interaction between different world characters from what I've seen (and still see.)

New anon here. Huh, as a current player I can't say I've witnessed that problem. And it's usually one of those things I notice immediately if just because it really, really bothers me. I've had a lot of recent experience at other games where people play that way: ignore everyone, even canon relationships, just to have buttsex and lol sex talk all the time. And usually completely screw over the characterization in making their characters sex-obsessed. Hate that.

But yeah, it's a surprise to hear. I've noticed other problems the game has but I didn't think its sexual content was one of them. Maybe I've been oblivious due to the characters/fandoms I'm playing right now. Almost hoping I don't see it since I'm running out of ideas on where to play that isn't all sex all the time.

Well I'm sorry you left the game with that impression though really, if you were in chat a lot, I hope our OOC convos didn't skew your perception of the game =/. Honestly though, the game has a rating of, at most, R- any of those scenes tend to fade-to-black. And with a lot of the various plots that go on, there is more to Econtra than s.e.x.

I have to say, though, I'm rather offended that you say the game "continues to fail". We may not be perfect all the time, but I'm having fun, and I know others who are having fun there, and, omg, that's all that matters.
