9. Den of Demons makes me laugh my ass off with its 'I USE OLD 4CHAN MEMES WHEN I INSULT PEOPLE SO I CAN LOOK INTERNET SMART'. Far as I'm concerned, the BJD drama people can continue to wank worse than Harry Potter fans. It's good entertainment. Despite that, I do agree with you wholeheartedly. I don't see why BJD fans wank WHEN THERE'S NOTHING TO WANK ABOUT. Maybe BJDs just attract drama queens or something.

11. SECRET SADDENS ME. :( I admit to telling my friends '*GASP* YOU MUST PLAY IT!' but that's because I know that my friends have the same gaming tastes as me and even then, my Halo-grinding-tard buds are openminded enough to try the game and then tell me whether or not they liked it. I don't bother them about it after.

If they just ruined it for you and you don't want to play, then don't. If your friends can't handle you saying that, well, can't say much about that friendship.

11. Hell, if it wasn't for my own friend badgering me about it, I never would've discovered this gem of a game! Completely agreed. It's a shame; even if s/he don't have interest in it, I think it's a nice game to at least try and then see if you don't like it. I certainly don't think someone should badger them so much that they should end up hating it without even playing it. :(

Disgaea has fans hidden all over the place, I swear. The fandom's given me a mixed feeling so I stay away, but meeting casual people who've played and loved the game is a wonderful feeling. 8D

Aha, the fandom's weird, that's for sure. Especially when you're one of those people that likes Phantom Brave better. (raising hand... now!) I don't know if I consider myself a casual or a hardcore fan, mostly because of all of the junk I post about on cyberdance (http://community.livejournal.com/cyberdance/)... and the fact that I'd seriously drop 400 dollars just to play the epic-ness that is Disgaea 3 BUT-!! It is nice to meet other fans. :D Wee!

Ahahahahaha it's so hard to find Ash fans. ;O; ♥ ♥ Most people find him "boring" compared to Laharl, but I think he's sweet and loving and can kick your ass if you mess with Marona. Somewhat self-loathing but also self-sacrificing for those he cares about aghhh do want.

He's one of those sweet-hearted ones who, while a bit stoic, can be so adorably cute and gentle at times. And yes it is mucho cute. I think I love it so much already because Almaz (pseudo Ash) sounds and acts so much like a more hopeful dorky Ash that it makes me go ";___;!" at his plight.

I really wish I knew what it was, but there's something that attracts those who are completely out of touch with reality to BJDs. It makes it really hard to talk "shop" to people about it as a hobby when they're telling you about how their doll talks to them or something.

Maybe it's the whole 'You can have your own little real anime character! 3D!' or something. BJDs being human-like probably doesn't help things. I remember on one of the Asian BJD forums, they were joking about how the reason English-speaking collectors loved them as lovers was because the dolls couldn't complain. :p

Ah well, if anyone ever find out why, give me a holler.

*snort* I know. I mean, I have one of those people as a close friend, but they know when to stop. When I see people taking it to the level of how their doll is their only friend, or how selling their doll is like selling a lover... I don't find it childish, but there's something to be said about interaction with other people being a sign of a healthy mentality or something.

A-fucking-men. I went to DoD for the first week or so as I thought it might be an interesting change from the overmoderation at DoA. Until I realized it was more or less the Unofficial BJD Troll Repository. What really cracked me up were my friends who were addicted to that place and defended and promoted it to high heaven... until they got thrown under the proverbial bus by their own troll buddies. Glass houses. Stones. Etc.

And I won't even go into the hilarious crapfest that is the "YOU STOLE MY DOLL('S PERSONALITY/IMAGE/WHATEVER)!! ;[" accusation.

I think maybe because 95% of the BJD fandom is female, there's more room for dramaqueen antics. Especially when a lot of them seem to have obvious social/personality disorders. :X WE'RE NOT ALL CRAZY, I SWEAR.

Oh god, I know. DoA's filled with butterflies and rainbow jellybeans compared to DoD. I have an account on the latter JUST to see the failure of a troll people there. ;D Nothing makes my day more than watching a troll trying to be one of those highschool bitches, smilies, emoticons, hearts and old 4chan memes and all.

Gaha, I understand what you mean. I personally LOVE it when the trollers become the trolled. No offense meant to your friends, though~ ;O

You should've seen the one with the 'Copyright Infringement' if you take a doll's image/personality/whatever. What's worse is that 99.9999999% of the time, said image/etc is usually an amalgamation of anime characters so there's nothing original about it to begin with. There's only so much a person can do with a doll. )8

;_; WHY MUST WIMIN BE SO DRAMATIC, WHYYYY. I especially hate how thin-skinned some of the female BJD fans are; and I definately have to agree with the social/personality thing-*shot* Oh man, if it wasn't for the few BJD fans I know, I'd definately think BJD was a hobby that bred dramaquens.

The thing about DoD that makes it really fail is that they don't understand what makes 4chan "work." Which is (mostly forced) Anonymous posting. And the doll fandom's just way too full of wannabe BNFs to work under 4ch rules. But I do agree; it is funny to see them

Copyright Infringement? Whaaaaaaaa? I'm intrigued and terrified at the same time. 8| Seriously though, unless you have a doll <i>you</i> molded, cast, and made your own eyes and wig for, I see no validity in the "YOU ARE STOLE MY DORRIE" claim. If you're going to buy factory made wigs and (especially popular and unmodded) doll molds, THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE THAT YOU WILL COME ACROSS THE SAME COMBINATION. YOUR DOLL IS NOT A SNOWFLAKE, SORRY TO SAY. ;[ ;[

And people wonder why I lurk among the doll community. If you don't give them any ammo, then you've got nothing to worry about, y'know.

DoD wasn't so bad when it first started, aside from the bitching about how DoA had gone downhill/WE ARE VICTIMS OF BANNANATION speeches. I left a long time ago when they started acting "hi2u im superior lolol /dramugossip ;D" HAS IT GOTTEN THAT BAD?
