Seems you don't read named comments any better than anonymous ones.

Um... I don't remember her even needing defending in the first place. It only got ugly WHEN everyone rushed in to protect her from this invisible attack. I'm pretty sure she could have handled it, she's a big girl and a strong person. Ignored it or replied to it or simply deleted it... I think she would've been all right.

The question of whether the person in question needed defending is still not, however, an excuse to treat any fellow human being in such a manner as some of the people who have been involved in this have been treated.

Thanks for keeping a level head about it, though. It really is appreciated.

I know. I'm just saying. The "defenders" jumped at nothing and the natural response was to be snappish and equally defensive. It was no one's fault so no more pointing fingers. I think it needs to be dropped now as it has nothing to do with anything. It's sunk to a 'This is why you suck' game. Not cool.

The defenders also tried to keep a level head. But apparently, I'm a "yappy bitch" who cannot possibly be civil. :/ Explain to me how this is so.

Template is made of people who can't let things go, when no one affiliated with it submitted the secret, and Econtra is made of perfectly mature, capable people? Those insults that were slung at me were obviously perfectly justified because Ankhi was on the "defensive?"

Think about it. Being on the "defensive" doesn't justify not keeping a level and civil head.

No, you're right. I missed that. I was laughing too hard at the realization that not only do you STILL stalk my roleplay, you keep quotes of my words on hand in some bizarre parody of "be prepared". As though copy+pasting them is somehow going to... what? Mollify me? Keep dreaming.

Don't flatter yourself. I went digging for that post, and I used it because it's always better to have evidence to back up your argument. What better evidence than a primary source?

That's the point. You went digging for the post because you can't let it go? I could quote chapter and verse what I said, but I didn't have to because you did it for me. I think it's great you have such diligence. In the future you might want to aim at something more productive, but everyone starts somewhere.

I went digging for the post so I could have some concrete evidence. Say what you like about it, but I like to have something solid backing me up in an argument, and that's the one and only reason I pulled that post up.

Quit talking to Ankhi-san like that! Stop it, all of you! I'm sick and tired of everyone throwing shit at her when she works hard and sacrifices so much to make a good game! I left Econtra myself, but I only have good memories of Ankhi and the other players. She made me feel so welcome even after I made a lot of mistakes. The only problem with the game was all the bitching that went on when it grew so large. I advocate freedom of expression, but this has crossed the line. Stop attacking her character when you don't even really know her!

Before you respond again, I'd ask you to read this thread. Everybody who has replied civilly and politely has received nothing but insults from Ankhi.

I'm glad you like her and I'm glad you've found a friend in her. Please understand that the situation is not the same for all of us, and those of us who have had more personal encounters with her (such as the ones you can read above) may have a very different impression than you do.

And I have to ask, just how well do you know Ankhi?

Yet another instance of "I never said that." I only asked her to read the thread, told her it was great that you were her friend, and told her that we don't all share the same opinion. That's all.

I have read the comments, and while I don't think the use of harsh words is justified for EITHER parties here, I can understand Ankhi-san's frustration over the entire situation. If this is, as you say, the product of multiple troubles involving Econtra, you must understand that most of the stress regarding those problems has been heaped on Ankhi-san. She is on the recieving end of every conflict, while most only deal with their individual problems. Because she puts a great deal of time and effort into this game, she feels hurt when people leave it. While there are definately communication problems here, can't you be sympathetic or at least civil towards her? If you consider what she does so bad, why stoop to that level?

As a moderator of another RP, I understand the pressures of taking on such a position of authority in a game, to include dealing with in-game problems. I have to say I would not have chosen Ankhi's method to deal with said issues.

This is why I asked you to read the thread - I have been civil, and I find it rather difficult to sympathize with somebody who mercilessly slings insults at me and my friends (especially after one of them came out and apologized for creating the secret in question).

As I honestly don't think we'll see eye to eye on this one, and I'd rather not perpetuate the argument, I think it's time I bid you goodnight. Have a good evening.
