As for character designs, they should just bring Yoshitaka Amano back.

I'm not even a big Amano fan, but at least his shit varies and no one's covered in belts.

Also in Amano art, either everyone has muscles fitting their strength or NO ONE DOES. None of this stick arm!Tifa horseshit.

Oh don't even start that "bring Yoshitaka Amano back" crap. I think it's fine to dislike Tetsuya Nomura, as everyone has different tastes in art, but please don't try and tell me that Amano was better.

I'm not saying that Amano's art is bad. It's incredibly beautiful in unique.

But applying Amano's style to 3D character designs just does NOT work. That's one of the reasons they changed character designers for FF7 in the first place. It's too difficult to make 3D models from Amano's art. Even FF4 DS has another artist doing redesigns of the characters (while keeping as close to Amano's style as possible).
