This. It was too much meta and not enough movie. I liked the idea of riffing on horror cliches, but found the execution to be tedious and bland. If the tone were unabashedly goofy cheesy instead of that strange flat realm of Not Sure If Trying To Be Serious In Some Regard, I might have liked it.
