Some of my fandoms are on average teens but I'm pretty sure most of them have an average age of 20's. Then again I'm only on either tumblr or 4chan so I don't see younger people as often.

I generally think of tumblr as being one of the younger fandom spaces, weird.

It's all based on who you follow. A lot of people I follow are from 4chan as well, and generally the artists and other people are in their 20's. I think I follow some ACNL tumblrs of younger people, I'm not sure.

I don't know if it's a younger space overall; most of the "grown-up" blogs (architecture/art/cooking) tend to be standard middle age; in the fandom areas of Tumblr it can get very young, very fast, but also span the spectrum, depending on the fandom of course.
