Re: Inspired by #1 - about getting old(er)
However, I remember that when I was 19, I was DREADING my 20th birthday because I felt like I had wasted the leeway for silly behavior that my teenage years gave and now could no longer do idiotic stuff and have it waved off. Since I had never done much idiotic stuff when I was a teenager, I felt like "NOOOOOO WHHHYYYYY I TOTALLY HAD THE CHANCE TO BE AN IDIOT AND NOW IT'S GOOOOOONNNE."
Also, I really wanted to lose my virginity before I turned 20. I think back then, I had got it into my head that I shouldn't be "the kind of person" who lost their virginity "late." I soon realized I had been watching too many American sitcoms and my perspective on age was completely screwed up. Fuck 'em.
