IMO, it's okay to feel that way since you know it's not rational. I'm 36 now, but when I was 22 I felt like the course of my life was pretty much set. It's not, of course, but it's hard convincing your brain that after all you've been through, you're barely a third of the way there.

This! I'm just hoping I can hang onto what's left of my health for the next half(?). If I'm lucky, and I get half...and it's a quality half....

TL;DR: You will find much else to worry about, 22-year-old anon! Dying young will not be one of them.....
