If he is, I'd say he's one of the worst written bisexual characters in science fiction. There's not even a closet door there to speculate behind.

That doesn't mean that you can't write K/S fiction, just that K/S fiction exists as an wonderful unofficial interpretation that exists apart from the official body of work and comments on this.

Which is what fanfic is supposed to be, not rationalizations for squinting real hard, crossing your eyes, and saying that your ship was what the body of work meant all along. No one is obligated to ship your ship, especially not Quinto whose performance is built on the official body of work and not fanon.
