I'm out to my closest family, but since I have a big extended family that celebrates holidays and takes vacations together in a big herd of 15 people or more, I want to come out as a lesbian to the rest of them some day... if I'm an estable relationship that merits risking alienating people I care about.

IDGAF about what "society" thinks, but the idea of making my granny or my grandpa cry because as far as they know, LGBT people have hard, unhappy lifes that always get the Bad Ending is super upsetting to me; and I don't see why should I worry them so if I'm not with anyone I'd like them to meet.
