Re: Unpopular fandom opinion

I'm well past the point where I can laugh at TV humor, which is tame and bland and sanitized. I sort of get why the Joker's always laughing. I'm not saying this to be "edgy" or anything, it's just that the steady collapse of Western society is very funny to me.
So, I laugh at stuff like this, and people like this guy. And this is probably not real and if it were that woman needs to be put in jail but I still laugh at how easy it is for stuff like this to come up, how Twitter -- which I used to think was dumb -- shows us just how ridiculous this world we live in really is. We're all sick, twisted bastards, dead inside and fucked in the head. We're fucking doomed and it's all our fault. And that's hilarious.
I don't know if any of this qualifies as "shocking and horrifying for humor value" -- I guess I just laugh at stuff that's not supposed to be funny. Really, laughing at it all is the only safe response -- because otherwise I'd just cry.
(I still laugh at Calvin and Hobbes though.)
