I loved the epilogue in the seventh Harry Potter book. I can understand why people don't, and yeah, the Lily Junior etc. was a little grating, but I thought it made sense for the series. Besides, Harry Potter was never going to have a Les Mis type ending. It works for fics, but that's not where JKR was ever going.
