I understand why Andrea felt like staying may have been a good idea at first - I mean, Woodbury was seductive in every way, including the Governor's bullshit, and she was tired of living like a refugee - but much later, when she had plenty of evidence that the man was crazy and dangerous and was standing over his sleeping body with a knife and didn't go through with it? That's completely on her. Andrea is dead because of Andrea, not Michonne. Hell, a lot of people are dead because of Andrea. And I loved the shit out of that woman, and I think she went out redeemed (even though I feel like she shouldn't have gone out at all), but she screwed up really badly at that point.

Seriously this. I adore Andrea and Michonne. But they're responsible for their own actions. I also find their splitting heartbreaking, so I was really happy to see that they were united before Andrea died. She was even the last person to say goodbye to her, which makes the Michonne/Andrea shipper in me very happy.

That was the only redeeming part of the whole storyline, for me, Andrea and Michonne's obvious love (whether platonic or otherwise, it was there) for each other. The "romance" with the Governor should never have happened in place of fleshing out Andrea/Michonne. But god forbid we look away from the dick for too long.

HA. No kidding. I was totally behind Andrea/Michonne - should have happened that way and yes, at least Michonne was there for her when she died. That was one good thing.

Yeah, I didn't really care for the "romance" Andrea had with the Governor either. It did add tension I guess, but I could do without it. I kind of just took whatever hints I could to make the Michonne/Andrea shipper in me satisfied. Like when Merle teased Michonne about her sleeping with Andrea during those cold winter nights. Granted, Merle is a bigoted asshole, but I liked that Michonne didn't deny anything during that scene either. Also when Michonne was trying to beg Andrea that they leave the town, and Andrea asked her, "What do expect us to do there? Grow old together by the sea?" or something like that. But just the implications of them growing old side by side was nice.

I know it's not much, but I work with what I can from that show.

Pretty much this. She *chose* to do nothing rather than act, and however crappy and undeserved her death was, *she* could have prevented it.
