It doesn't even fit the bill for that, since Romeo was speaking like that about Rosaline in the beginning of the play. I guess if people wanted to interpret their stupidity to the first love feeling, that can make sense in their headcanon. But I've mainly heard in other fandoms who reference R&J about how perfect and flawless their love is and how it reminds them of their OTP. So it's not even a same interpretation like the one you're describing.

Eh, first love usually refers to a person's first relationship, and seeing as Rosaline rejected Romeo it's a plausible way to view it.

And, to be fair, most [including your's] views of R&J are just headcanon/interpretation.

A lot of the text, including how other people who knew what Romeo and Juliet were doing, supports that they rushed into it and that it in no way was true love. It was just two hormone driven teenagers rushing into things because of infatuation.
