I really like Cut the Rope. The basic mechanics are simple (candy attached to rope, cut rope at right moment/place so that it gets to where the little creature can eat it) and adds new twists on each level (movable anchor points, reverse gravity, magic portals....) and you can pass each level at the most basic, just feed the creature, or more complex--try to get all the stars (some time out, argggggh)
