The song is very nice, but I don't think it'd have worked very well during that scene. Elsa being too heartbroken to sing makes more sense to me. And we already had a "sobbing-through-the-song" scene @ Tangled's climax, where it even made a lot of sense that she'd try to sing though she was in intense emotional pain due to her loss.
