I don't think OP is insane or anything, I think they're just going through the "edgy teen" thing. Maybe someday they'll rewatch some of the stuff with evil/murderous characters that they thought were really cool and laugh at how they used to be.

I don't see why this anon in particular is being told to get help. People idolize and worship all kinds of evil or evil-doing characters; Loki, Hannibal, Lucifer.

I haven't read the series myself but from looking up the guy's backstory he seems like he has a better excuse to turn out a psycho than the above three.

Johan's pretty fucking evil. Watch JesuOtaku's '20 Most Deliciously Evil Bad Guys' list on Blip. She ranked all the villains by the amount of evil things they had done in comparison to each other, factoring in charisma, talent and just how genuinely frightening they can be. Johan got a perfect score.
