I live next to a police station in OK. So I heard tornado sirens all the time when they test them. And one of the cops has this new fancy SUV that he will sometimes test all the sirens on. Always makes me jerk in panic for a brief moment.

Siren's never fail at managing to both creep me out and fill me with dread. Not helped by the fact that the day after I watched the Silent Hill movie with some friends the local army base decided that, that was the day they would test out their air raid sirens at like 8 in the morning.
