It's this boyscout thing where basically you wrap stuff [whatever you've got lying around] in foil [with butter] and stick it in the oven to cook for an hour.

Oh, campfire stew. We used to make that with cream of mushroom soup and onion soup powder in our troop.

Naw, not really a stew. It's more of a steaming thing. Idk if it's something they still *teach* since it's something my mom's family started doing when my uncle was a boyscout many, many moons ago.

Well they still taught it to me. ...We just happened to like the version where you put canned soup in the foil packet better.

Ahhh, yeah. That kind is good - I just don't generally keep canned soup on hand, so it's a little hard to do ^^;;
