Re: What's for dinner?

Well, I was going to cook up the dozen jiaozi that have been in my freezer for like six damn months, but my dumb ass forgot to buy any oil after I used the last of it in those brownies from NYE, so it was experimental lime-pepper flounder. Tasted okay, but I really should have put more salt on that, and possibly cooked it longer--recipe said use cast iron but all I had was a ceramic baking thing, so I think that screwed the time estimate up.

And before the Nutrition Police comes rolling through, it was literally this, hot pockets, or eggs-n-ketchup, because I am out of food and it is -14F out there, so fuck going outside. At least this had lime juice.

Flounder is quite nutritious. I'm not sure why you'd think I would have a problem with it.

Well, I didn't have any vegetables, so it wasn't particularly balanced. Still better than hot pockets, though.

Everyone gets a pass for a first offense lol. Dethy up there didn't because this is the second dinner thread I've seen him comment in where he didn't list any vegetables other than corn, which doesn't count.
