It's cold here too, but not nearly as bad as reports I have been hearing from other places. Even so, I had on two sweaters and my heavy winter coat today and was still cold.

We are having cold but no snow at the moment. If we must have this temperature, I wish we could get some nice snow to look at as well, but alas.

It's been below zero at night for a few nights and barely above zero during the day. Thankfully today and the rest of the week it will be near or above freezing. Much better than what it is now. We got a bit of snow, no ice thank god.

My thoughts exactly. If it is going to be this cold, it could have the decency to snow. That's how I feel when it gets so cold yet there's no snow. I hope you're staying warm!

I've got a heating pad and tons of blankets. My house is warmish. It is badly insulated and a pain to warm up in this kind of cold.

What are some of your fandoms? Most of mine are older fandoms, mostly anine and mamanga fandoms. I'm more of a lurker so I'm not exactly in any fandoms but I read fic and look for fanart.

Mostly TV, for me. I love all the Star Treks most of all (sans reboot, which just inspires apathy in me).

I am mostly a lurker too. I find it difficult to contribute much to fandom. I write too slowly, can't draw at all, and rarely have much to say in terms of meta/discussion.

Admittedly I've only seen a few bits of TOS but I've enjoyed what I've seen. I've seen a lot of TNG but not all of it. Only seen a handful of eps for the other series. Might have to remedy that. The only tv fandoms I'm in are Doctor Who, Angel, and Sleepy Hollow. Really wish I could get into more liveaction stuff. They have more active fandoms.

I'm the same. Except I can't write. At all. I wish I coucould be more active but discussions and meta are something I'm terrible at. Excuse my rambliness.

I love Angel! I don't hang around the fandom much, but will rewatch eps from time to time.

You should definitely watch more Star Trek! Deep Space Nine is the best in terms of character and plot, and TNG is my go-to comfort show. (Sorry, it is sometimes hard to contain my inner Star Trek Evangelist.)

Your rambliness is no problem at all. It is nice to have someone to talk to at this hour. :)

Angel is pretty fucking great and easily one of my most favorite shows! I barely lurk in the fandom, so I don't know how it is. Mostly just read fic and rewatch some of fav episodes. That opening theme is glorious, omg.

Oh, I don't mind it at all!! I don't have netflix or any trekkie friends, so watching anything other than TNG might be a bit hard. Thank god for BBC America's rerunning of the series.

Thank goodness, I was a bit worried. I'm always here late so if you ever want to chat I'm up for it. You can spot me from the many typos I make, lol.

I love the Angel theme! It's gorgeous and fits the tone of the show (especially the early seasons) so well.

May I point your attention to www.startrek.com/videos if you are interested in expanding your Trek horizons? It is poorly organized, but dang, look at the number of full episodes!

It is an absolute perfect fit! I watch/listen to it everytime I watch an ep. It is one of the few openong themes I don't skip.

Aww, thanks for broadening my Trek horizons! I will watch when i have time. I'm getting a bit tired so I think I will call it a night. If you ever want to chat again, you can make a thread whenever you get on here. I'm a night owl, so yeah.
