Good luck!

The 500 word statement is really just to make sure you can write well and concisely. You should ace that, the interview is all preparation, preparation, go over the course again, maybe look up what they'll be teaching you, write down some questions to ask them if necessary, remember what you want, fake a confident persona (but not cocky!) and just treat it like an upcoming exam.
