I don't remember the Pearl Harbor thing [mainly because I avoid WW2 stuff in general] but, considering some of the *other* crap he's said [both on and off NC], it wouldn't surprise me.

I do, however, remember being irritated by the "These types of friendships [m/m] are so rare in fiction!" and just...yeah. That kinda irritated me.
